Please note that there is also a Table of Time Allocations for .

A List of Recently Closed Mainland Experiments can be found in the Table of .

Notes to Columns:-

a)  Principal Partners only.
b)  Principal Experimenter only. For Multi-User Experiments, the name of the Convenor is given.
c)  Hours of EISCAT Accounting Time. This makes allowance for the charging factors employed by EISCAT.
d)  Because of (c), the figures in this column may not reflect the hours of data actually taken.
e)  The total for this column is for the experiments listed only. The Overall Mainland Total is 6371.50 hours.
f)  Some experiments share a common pool of time. Each pool is counted only once in the total for this column.
g)  Notes to Experiments. For the Key, see below.

Notes to Experiments:-

i)  A number prefixed by "L" indicates an experiment which has also been granted time on the Svalbard Radar. The number is that of the Svalbard Experiment.
ii)  The letter "P" followed by roman numerals in parentheses indicates a pool of time. The roman numerals are those of the Notes providing information about the pool.
iii)  The letter "N" followed by roman numerals in parentheses indicates Notes other than the above. The roman numerals are those of the Notes.
iv)  The time used and the balance for this experiment are best estimates, and might be subject to revision.
v)  All remaining time for these experiments was transferred to Experiment 246 HAIL.
vi)  A further run of this experiment took place in January 2009, but used Third Party Time only.
vii)  Part of the time charged to this experiment (7.00 hours) was used as a UK contribution to an experiment called ELIN.
viii)  This experiment has also been referred to as PMSE, but that name has already been used by an experiment (152 PMSE) which was closed in 2007.
ix)  All remaining time for this experiment (1.00 hour) was used to supplement the UK experiments run in November 2011.
x)  The allocation for this experiment was increased by 45.00 hours as a result of transfers from other experiments.
xi)  This experiment was awarded time in support of a rocket campaign. The time was awarded for the duration of the campaign only. No time was used, and the balance has been reduced to zero.
xii)  This experiment was awarded time in support of a rocket campaign. The time was awarded for the duration of the campaign only, and the balance was subsequently reduced to zero.
